I am currently a Junior Fellow at the Harvard Society of Fellows. As a theoretical physicist, I work on various problems in soft matter, nonequilibrium statistical physics and biophysics, often with a strong flavour of geometry or topology in it.

I received my PhD in physics from Syracuse University, where my advisors were Cristina Marchetti and Mark Bowick, who have since moved to the University of California, Santa Barbara and the KITP. To know more about my current work, check out theĀ  Research tab and my CV.

Prior to that, I did my undergraduate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IITM) in chemical engineering. In my spare time, I do enjoy painting, reading books and singing Indian classical music (Hindustani). Some of my previous art work is also posted under the Art tab.
